My Step Faction Supports the Prime Minister of Armenia: Statement

The My Step faction of the National Assembly finds the political statements made by individual military personnel unacceptable, assessing them as an attempt at a military coup. This is stated in the text of their statement.

“This unconstitutional step aims to seize the power of the people and destabilize the state in this fragile post-war situation, which also carries external security threats. It is unfortunate that those responsible for the country’s security are deliberately displaying irresponsible behavior. The My Step faction stands united and determined to maintain the stability of the state and the authority of the people and supports the Prime Minister.”

“We call on our citizens to join us in Republic Square to peacefully and non-violently exercise our constitutional right,” the faction's statement reads.
