Mikael Minasian Comments on Pashinyan's Statement Regarding Iskander

Mikael Minasian, in his Telegram channel, addressed Nikol Pashinyan's statement regarding the Iskander missile. He wrote: “Today, everyone—reporters, experts, politicians—discussed Nikol and the 10% Iskander. For me, the story related to the Iskander shows that its purpose was not to address the buildup of enemy forces at the beginning of the war, nor to target the airports from which drones were flying throughout the conflict, or even the oil and gas infrastructure.

It was important for Nikol, before signing the capitulation, to demonstrate in some way that he had utilized the Iskander, and the target was Shushi. This city, which Nikol considers ‘colorless and unfortunate’, insists it is Azerbaijani, while his subordinates refer to it not as Shushi but as ‘Shusha.’ Hitting the symbol of Armenian victory in the First Nagorno-Karabakh War with the Iskander is a declared attitude towards life, values, history, and everything we could have been proud of.

It so happens that we will be the generation that remembers Shushi as Armenian, while Nikol will remain in history as a traitor, the one who surrendered Shushi and targeted the symbol of victory.
