Larsi Road Closed Due to Snowstorm; Large Number of Trucks Accumulated on the Russian Side

According to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs' Emergency Management Department and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations' crisis management center in North Ossetia, the Stepanantsminda-Larsi road is closed (due to a snowstorm) for all types of vehicles. There are approximately 550 trucks accumulated on the Russian side.

Drivers are advised to travel only with winter tires.
