Korotchenko Considers Armenian Military's Chances of Overthrowing Pashinyan Low
Russian military expert and editor-in-chief of the 'National Defense' newspaper Igor Korotchenko considers the chances of Armenian military personnel successfully overthrowing Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to be low.
“If the generals have not brought their tanks to the streets of Yerevan in support, then their chances of toppling Pashinyan are significantly reduced,” wrote Korotchenko.
At the same time, he notes that Armenia's National Security Service is documenting calls for a coup d'état on Telegram made by Aram Gabrelianov, which have been carried out by foreign and Armenian citizens. Korotchenko stated that procedural decisions will follow this.
