Extraordinary Meeting of Parliament Council Canceled: No Extraordinary Session Will Take Place

The extraordinary meeting of the Parliament Council, scheduled for 17:30 to discuss the convening of an extraordinary session, did not take place. This was announced by MP Mikayel Melkumyan from the Prosperous Armenia faction during a briefing with journalists in the Parliament.

According to Melkumyan, the motivation for convening an extraordinary session was to resolve the situation that has developed in the country. The Prosperous Armenia and Bright Armenia factions had initiated the extraordinary session to address the agenda regarding the lifting of martial law and the discussion of the current situation.
