It Is Very Possible That I Will Also Go on Vacation and Visit a Casino at the Invitation of Friends, Says SRS Head

Rafik Mashadyan commented on his recent publication and provided clarification, stating that he has nothing more to add. This was announced by the Head of the State Revenue Committee (SRS) Edward Hovanissyan during a conversation with journalists as he spoke about the news regarding his deputy's visit to a casino.

When asked about the findings of the investigation conducted by the SRS regarding the incident, which he had previously reported, the SRS head stated that they confirmed what Mashadyan had presented to the public.

In response to a clarifying question about whether Mashadyan had been to the casino, Hovanissyan said that Mashadyan had presented that information himself. Asked whether the presence of such an official in a casino poses risks, the SRS head indicated that visiting a casino is not inherently illegal, and they did not see any risks involved. "It is very possible that I will also go on vacation and, at the invitation of friends, I will visit a casino as well. This does not involve illegal behavior," he concluded.
