Russia Supports the Modernization of Armenia's Armed Forces, According to Ambassador

Russia supports the modernization of Armenia's armed forces, said the Russian Ambassador to Armenia, Sergey Kopirkin, in a conversation with journalists. The information was provided by Aysor.am.

According to him, there are very intensive exchanges between the defense ministries of Armenia and Russia on various avenues. “Issues related to strengthening cooperation between our countries and armed forces in various directions are being discussed,” said Kopirkin.

He also noted that continuous efforts are being made with the participation of Russia's high leadership regarding the return of Armenian prisoners of war. “We would like everything to happen faster, according to the 'all for all' principle, but the work is not easy; however, it continues diligently,” said Kopirkin.
