No Passengers on the Aircraft, Pilots Were Foreign Nationals: New Details Emerge

The Civil Aviation Committee reports: “Dear citizens, considering the various questions raised by the public, the Civil Aviation Committee announces that there were no passengers on the specified aircraft, and the pilots were foreign nationals.

The flight was of a technical nature, and details regarding the landing are currently under investigation. An inquiry is underway regarding the unauthorized flight route and landing.

In light of the investigation, the Committee will provide information about the final results after the completion of the inquiry.”

It is worth recalling that earlier the Committee had addressed reports circulating in the media regarding the hijacking of a Boeing 737 type aircraft. It was noted that the Committee is aware of the aircraft's location and is currently working closely with the aviation authorities of the involved states. Additional information will be presented by the Committee following the completion of the investigation.
