Flight Had Technical Nature, Information on Landing Under Investigation

Flight had technical nature, and information regarding the landing is currently under investigation. An investigation is underway at the Committee regarding the unauthorized flight route and unauthorized landing.

This was reported by the Civil Aviation Committee, responding to news about the hijacking of a Boeing 737 aircraft produced in the United States, belonging to Armenia.

In the interest of the investigation, the Committee will inform about the final results after the investigation concludes.

It is noteworthy that since February 22, 2021, news has circulated in the media stating that the Boeing 737 aircraft has been hijacked. The Civil Aviation Committee has not denied the hijacking report, only indicating that they are aware of the aircraft's location and are closely cooperating with the aviation authorities of the relevant states.
