The Center of Yerevan Will Be Unloaded: New Road Construction Planned

The government has approved a decision regarding the preliminary study of existing properties in the section of Isakov Street to Arshakunyats Avenue as part of the "Urban Sustainable Development Investment Program, Tranche 2." According to the loan agreement signed between the Republic of Armenia and the Asian Development Bank on October 13, 2015, the construction works on the Isakov Street-Arshakunyats Avenue section will be implemented with the financing of the Asian Development Bank under the Urban Sustainable Development Investment Program, Tranche 2.

The implementation of this project will contribute to relieving congestion in the center of Yerevan, significantly reducing travel time and decreasing traffic jams.
