Explosion and Fire Erupt after Collision between Fuel Truck and Train in Texas
A powerful explosion occurred in the Mylem area of Texas, followed by a fire outbreak. According to local KCENTV, the explosion happened when a freight truck collided with a train carrying fuel.
Residents of nearby homes were evacuated. The sheriff's office reported that there were no injuries or casualties as a result of the incident. The drivers were unharmed.
The collision took place near a railway line, in a locality situated 219 kilometers from Houston. Law enforcement officials stated that the train transporting gasoline collided with a freight truck equipped with a trailer carrying other chemicals. Three fuel-filled tankers caught fire.
