Discussions on the Status of Territories Under Azerbaijani Control Held in Artsakh National Assembly

The Permanent Commission on Foreign Relations of the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh convened a meeting on February 23 to discuss the text of a declaration regarding the legal status of the territories of the Republic of Artsakh that have fallen under Azerbaijani control. This was reported by the Information and Public Relations Department of the National Assembly of Artsakh.

After approving the agenda, the main report was presented by David Melikyan, a member of the National Assembly from the Permanent Commission on Foreign Relations and the leader of the 'Democratic Party of Artsakh' faction, who introduced the text of the declaration.

Members of the Assembly proposed certain edits to the text, which were accepted by the author. The commission unanimously voted in favor of the presented draft declaration. The project will be discussed in the upcoming plenary session.
