Clear Actions from the USA Possible Against Armenia: Sargsyan on the Hijacking of Boeing 737

International expert Suren Sargsyan wrote on his Facebook page: "The Civil Aviation confirms that: 1. The information is correct, 2. The aircraft may have been hijacked, but the committee is not aware, 3. They are working with the relevant country, and an investigation is underway.

Consequences: Clear actions from the USA against Armenia cannot be ruled out, including sanctions. Preventive measures: 1. Return the aircraft, 2. Punish those responsible, and generally avoid involvement in the confrontations of great powers, maintaining neutrality, especially when both are friends."

It is worth recalling that today there were reports that a Boeing 737 aircraft with Armenian registration had been hijacked, to which the Civil Aviation Committee stated that they had not received official information regarding the hijacking from the relevant authorities.
