Rescue Teams Discover RGD-5 Type Grenade in Yerevan

On February 22, at 14:43, the National Crisis Management Center received information regarding a robbery that occurred at a currency exchange point located at 6/7 Kaghaznuni Street in Yerevan, where a grenade was present.

A team from the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations' firefighting and rescue unit, an operational group from the National Crisis Management Center, a duty psychologist from the Psychological Support Department, and an engineering and rescue group from the Civil Defense Department headed to the scene.

It was determined that the discovered item was an RGD-5 type combat grenade. Rescuers cordoned off the area, and the bomb disposal team transported the grenade to a shooting range in the Armavir province, specifically in Baghramyan.
