Request to Erect Statue of Hero Albert Hovhannisyan in Yerevan Denied
The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports has rejected the request to erect a statue of hero Albert Hovhannisyan in Yerevan. This was announced by Narine Manukyan, the director of the Republican Rehabilitation Center, on her Facebook page.
“The desecrators, who represent Azerbaijani-Turkish interests in Armenia, have denied the request to establish a statue of hero Albert as a tribute to the collective image of the fallen soldiers. This is the very least that should be done. But no, what a pity, Aliyev would be upset. On the other hand, they erect a statue of a fake hero every day and create a nation out of nomads, while our boys apparently do not deserve a statue… The reason is that there is no money in the budget. These traitors have no shame, but there is money for your bonuses, for pens, and toilet paper that cost hundreds of thousands of drams, right? Of course, it's normal, you don’t need heroes; for you, even Nzhdeh is a reactionary figure. You are just waiting to quickly settle into the Turkish behind to increase the loot, so you can buy another piece of cloth for your brats and consider yourselves human beings.
Scoundrels, you would barely imprison people like Ara Saghatelyan and Beqaryan, who have been enemies of the Turks for decades, just to please your godfather Aliyev. You’ll soon remember, you will have to answer for your deeds; your descendants will be ashamed to carry your names, they will flee from Armenia just to be able to go out on the streets. Disgraceful, homeless scoundrels. How are we enduring these folks, and there are still people who support or somehow justify them? I wonder what kind of nation you are genetically. Your so-called humanity…” wrote Narine Manukyan.
