The Parliament of Georgia has granted confidence to the new composition of the government, and from this moment on, the government assumes its powers. 89 deputies voted in favor of the government led by Irakli Gharibashvili, while two members of the 'Citizens' party voted against, and four deputies from the 'European Socialists' abstained. During today's hearings in parliament, Irakli Gharibashvili presented the upcoming plans of the new government and spoke about priorities.

According to Gharibashvili, the main priorities of the government will be to restore constitutional order frameworks from destructive forces, the import of vaccines, and the development of a new ten-year development program.

“In the first 100 days, the main priorities will be to establish order in the country and to return several destructive forces to the frameworks of constitutional order. Of course, our main priority will be to import vaccines for the population and to develop a new ambitious 10-year development program, which I will do with your involvement and together with my team,” Gharibashvili announced in parliament.
