Search Operations Halted in Artsakh Due to Weather Conditions

Search operations for missing persons and the remains of the deceased have been suspended again in the areas of recent combat actions in Artsakh due to adverse weather conditions. This was stated in an interview with Sputnik Armenia by Hunan Tadevosyan, the head of the public relations department of Artsakh’s Emergency Situations State Service.

“Due to bad weather conditions, search operations will not be conducted today either. Most likely, they will resume next week when the weather improves,” Tadevosyan noted.

Search activities have not taken place for five days. It should be noted that since November 13, a total of 1,485 bodies have been discovered in Artsakh and in territories that have come under Azerbaijani control. Nine living individuals have been found, including seven servicemen and two civilians, a father and son from Hadrut.
