Dilijan Loops Closed for Trucks with Trailers, Difficult for Other Vehicles - MES

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed and difficult-to-pass roads in the territory of Armenia. The Berd-Jambarak road, the Vardenyats mountain pass, and the roads leading from the 'Amberd' high-altitude meteorological station in Aragatsotn Province to Amberd Fortress and Lake Keri are closed.

Intercommunity roads in the Amasia region of Shirak Province are difficult to traverse. The Dilijan loops are closed for trucks with trailers and difficult for other vehicles.

Snowfall has been reported in the towns of Kotayk, Vayots Dzor, Ashtarak and Talin in Aragatsotn Province, Kapan, Goris, and Sisian in Syunik Province, Sevan, Gavarr, Jambarak in Gegharkunik Province, and Dilijan, Ijevan, and Berd in Tavush Province.

Regarding the Lars situation, according to information from the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed for all types of vehicles, with about 600 trucks accumulated on the Russian side.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
