Artsakh Will Rise Again from the Ruins, Continuing Its Eternal Path Says Artsakh President

Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan made a post on his Facebook page:

“Dear compatriots, February 20, 1988, has entered the annals of the Armenian people as a symbol of national revival, solid unity, and indomitable will, marking the beginning of an entire era of struggle, resistance, reconstruction, loss, and victories. Thirty-three years have passed since that day.

Today, the people of Artsakh are living through one of the most complex and difficult periods in their history, grappling with the blows of fate, feeling like a single entity, with clenched teeth and fists, their cries choked and tears welled in their eyes.

They live on, keeping the spirit and ideals of ’88 alive within them, feeling more confident and determined than ever that the path they have chosen is correct and irreversible, that now more than ever, they must live and nurture their homeland, which has been sanctified twice by the blood of its modern heroes.

For the sake of our martyrs, our dreams, and our generations, Artsakh will rise again from the ruins and continue its eternal path. We must continue the value-driven struggle of the Artsakh movement, becoming stronger, more developed, united, and resolutely defending our rights and freedoms, national interests and values, dignity, and honor. This is the path to the survival of the Armenian people. And may peace and success accompany our people and our homeland along this path.”
