If They Resign a Second Earlier, It’s Salvation for the Nation, People, and the Country: Gagik Tsarukyan

We are presenting the reality today; the issue of saving the homeland is at hand. The rest depends on the people, the situation, said Gagik Tsarukyan, the president of the Prosperous Armenia party, during a conversation with journalists in Liberty Square.

“If they resign a second earlier, it is salvation for the nation, the people, and the country,” Tsarukyan stated.

According to him, the existing tension in the country must be alleviated. “Any citizen should analyze what Tsarukyan has said; it has been reality. They never took any steps to prepare, to position themselves, to negotiate. When the war started, they said, ‘Well, it was a surprise for us.’ I’ve been saying for four months that if they had been prepared, there wouldn’t have been a war, there wouldn’t have been so many casualties, and there wouldn't have been such a disgraceful defeat. They are wandering around, deceiving the people with lies; in the end, I don’t know what will happen,” Gagik Tsarukyan remarked.

“Today, people approached me who have loans, cannot pay them off, and are losing their properties. The state should grant amnesty for these loans and freeze some of them since there is an economic crisis. The nation that holds the state and develops the economy is the people, and therefore, they should extend a hand to the people. They are unable; they must resign as soon as possible. Otherwise, the situation will worsen day by day,” Tsarukyan emphasized. He highlighted that the salvation of the homeland is for the authorities to resign: “Don’t take the path of emigration; everything will be fine,” Gagik Tsarukyan said.
