Three High-Ranking Officials Dismissed for Criticizing Pashinyan on Facebook
Three high-ranking officials of the "High Voltage Electric Networks" company have been dismissed due to their criticism of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Facebook. The officials are Vahe Martirosyan, the former deputy director, Gevorg Virabyan, the legal advisor, and Gor Martirosyan, the director of the financial department.
Initially, we tried to confirm this information with Gevorg Virabyan, but instead of answering, he wanted to know where we got our information. He commented, "Who told you? I’ve heard that you owe me money now," indicating his surprise.
When pressed for a response, he stated that he had not been dismissed and was still working. However, we verified through our sources at the HVEN and confirmed that Virabyan is no longer employed there.
We managed to reach former deputy director Vahe Martirosyan, who confirmed his dismissal. When we inquired if it was due to the criticism, and whether he intended to pursue legal action to restore his violated rights, he declined to comment further.
We also contacted Gor Martirosyan, who stated he is currently on leave and would not be commenting on the matter.
This was reported by the "Haykakan Zhamanak" newspaper.
