New Composition of the Georgian Government to be Presented to Parliament Today

The new composition of the Georgian government and its program will be presented to parliament today. During the bureau meeting scheduled for 18:00, it will be determined when the issue of granting confidence to the government will be discussed. This information has been reported by aliq.ge.

According to the constitution, the parliament must express confidence in the new government within two weeks. The ruling party notes that the process of forming the new government will take less than two weeks.

It is noteworthy that yesterday, on February 18, the Prime Minister of Georgia resigned. The ruling "Georgian Dream" party nominated former Prime Minister and current Minister of Defense Irakli Garibashvili as the candidate for Prime Minister.
