Khachatur Abovyan Wanted: Claims He Will Blow Up the Gagarin Bridge

According to Shamshyan.com, an emergency incident occurred in the Gegharkunik region on February 17. Around 10:00 AM, an unidentified citizen called the Armenian Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and announced that he was planning to blow up the Gagarin Bridge, known to the public, located in the administrative territory of Gagarin village.

The report was received by the head of the ministry's secretariat, Gayane Hovhannisyan, who then forwarded the information to law enforcement authorities.

As reported by photojournalist G. Shamshyan, the caller claimed to be Khachatur Abovyan, a 44-year-old resident of the Gagarin community in Sevan. He works at the gas distribution station of Gazprom Armenia in Gagarin.

Shamshyan also reported that the police department in Sevan is taking necessary measures to locate Kh. Abovyan.
