Cyclone From the Black Sea Region Approaches: What Weather is Expected in the Coming Days

Due to the penetration of a cyclone from the Black Sea region, snow is expected across the entire territory of the republic on February 20 and during the night of the 20th to the 21st, with significant snowfall in some areas, along with blizzard conditions in mountainous zones and mountain passes. Icy conditions are anticipated on all highways of the republic during the night and morning.

On February 19, in the afternoon, some regions may experience light snow, and on the night of the 20th and 21st, significant snowfall is expected in many areas; during the day on the 21st, snow is also forecasted in Syunik and Artsakh. From February 22-24, dry weather is expected.

The winds are anticipated to be from the southwest at 5-10 m/s. The air temperature will gradually decrease by 7-9 degrees during the night of February 21-22.

In Yerevan, light snow is expected intermittently during the afternoon of February 19. Snow is also forecasted on February 20 and during the night of the 21st, with dry weather expected from the 22nd to the 24th.
