4.7 Magnitude Earthquake Recorded in Japan; No Tsunami Warning Issued
A 4.7 magnitude earthquake has been recorded in northeastern Japan, according to TASS. The Japan Meteorological Agency reports that the epicenter of the earthquake is located east of Fukushima, at a depth of 50 kilometers.
There are no reports of casualties or damage, and no tsunami warning has been issued.
Just days earlier, on February 13, a powerful earthquake occurred in the Pacific Ocean, northeast of Fukushima, which left more than 160 people injured. The tremors were felt in Japan's northeastern and central regions.
