100 Members of U.S. Congress Urge Biden Administration to Stand by Artsakh and Armenia
One hundred members of the U.S. Congress are urging the Joe Biden administration to take concrete steps for the survival of Artsakh and the security of Armenia. According to Armenpress, this was announced by the Armenian National Committee of America.
Their call to the Biden administration includes helping the people of Artsakh to restore their communities, participating in the search for a stable regional settlement based on the right to self-determination of Artsakh, recognizing the right of the people of Artsakh to self-determination and their role as a legitimate negotiating party in resolving the conflict, and ensuring the immediate release of Armenian prisoners. They also called for support for the economic development of Armenia and assistance to Armenians displaced due to Azerbaijani aggression. Furthermore, they urged President Joe Biden to recognize the Armenian Genocide.
