The Support Program for Families of Our Missing and Captured Citizens Has Not Yet Been Completed, Prime Minister

During today's government meeting, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that the support program for families of our missing and captured citizens has not yet been completed.

“There are beneficiaries whose funds have not yet been transferred, and we need to work more intensively to resolve this issue,” said Pashinyan. He noted that changes need to be made to the regulations to ensure that assistance reaches its intended recipients more effectively.

“I consider it a significant shortcoming that children are not accounted for as beneficiaries, and certain issues arise from this. I have instructed that we conduct a specific study there, and adjustments are necessary,” added the Prime Minister.

Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan also responded, stating that they have received complaints on this issue. “Yes, there are complaints, but the urgency that we were supposed to ensure in the previous period is in conflict; yes, it is true that there is a children's issue, and yes, we need to improve these measures,” said the Deputy Prime Minister.
