The State of Business is Very Bad, Says Minister of Economy

“I am focused solely on economic dynamics. The recovery of the economy is the most important thing; the sooner we solve the issue of economic recovery—regardless of the obstacles and reasons—the sooner other issues will be resolved,” Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan said in an interview with First News.

In response to the observation that, according to statistics, many businesses are closing, the minister noted that the situation is indeed very bad. “Certainly, the situation is very bad, and I do not want to use any unnecessary positive numbers or words in this regard, and my daily 16-hour work is aimed at ensuring that as many businesses as possible feel good and that as many industries as possible can recover soon,” he said.
