The Number of Casualties Recorded by the Armenian Side is Not 4005, but 3577: Rebuttal
Referring to a response from the Ministry of Health, several media outlets reported today that from September 27, 2020, to February 13, 2021, a total of 3577 corpses underwent forensic examinations, and as of February 13, 428 samples are undergoing DNA testing. According to this, some media outlets calculated that as of February 16, the Armenian side has 4005 casualties.
However, the Information Verification Center refuted this information and provided clarification on the matter. "The Information Verification Center, in contact with the Ministry of Health, clarifies that the circulating figure of 4005 is false. As of February 13, the number of casualties recorded by the Armenian side (subjected to forensic examination) is 3577. The 428 bodies, from which samples are being subjected to DNA testing, are included in the 3577 casualties published by the Ministry of Health," the clarification states.
