Syunik Province Experiences Power Outage

Factor TV received reports from residents of Syunik Province that there is no electricity in the region. To verify this information, we contacted Armine Avagyan, the advisor to the Syunik Governor. She noted that she is currently in the city of Kapan and does not have electricity in her apartment, but she could not provide information regarding the situation in the entire province.

The news agency further reached out to the power distribution company’s service and information center, where it was confirmed that the report is accurate. The power outage is due to an emergency issue stemming from a high-voltage substation. Specialists are currently on site, and they expect that electricity will be restored in the province within the next two hours.
