3577 Bodies Have Passed Forensic Examination, 428 Specimens Under DNA Testing Phase
From September 27, 2020, to February 13, 2021, a total of 3577 bodies underwent forensic examinations, as reported by the Ministry of Health of Armenia in response to an inquiry from Aysor.am. Additionally, as of February 13, 428 specimens are in the phase of DNA testing, the ministry indicated.
As of February 16, according to lists published by the Artsakh Defense Army, the number of casualties on the Armenian side is 2364. By February 17, the Artsakh State Emergency Service has identified the remains of 1485 fallen soldiers and civilians.
It is worth noting that Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan stated in the National Assembly that the number of casualties will not exceed 4000.
