Police Discover Body of 63-Year-Old Woman After Almost a Month of Searching in Yerevan Outskirts

Police have discovered the body of 63-year-old Anahit Smbatyan, a resident of the Ajapnyak administrative district of Yerevan, after nearly a month of search operations. This information was reported by shamshyan.com.

According to the website, the body was found today in a field adjacent to the area leading from the 3rd village to the Spandaryan station. "Currently, a team from the investigative department of the Armenian Investigative Committee is conducting an examination at the site of the body’s discovery. A forensic medical examination has been appointed regarding the incident. According to the preliminary conclusion of the forensic expert, no signs of violence were found on the body," the report states.

The website also noted that relatives of the deceased stated that from the very first day, both they and the police have conducted search operations daily, even utilizing drones and police canine units several times.
