Ministry of Defense Clarifies Entries in Military Records for Participants of Combat Operations

In connection with the entries made in the military records of participants in the combat operations that began on September 27, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia clarifies the following:

1. For servicemen who participated in the combat operations from September 27 to November 10, 2020, and were included in combat duty after the completion of operations, as well as personnel conscripted through mobilization (or involved in military service through other procedures), the military records will include a corresponding entry. For example: "Participated in combat operations in unit No. 00000 as a rifleman from October 27, 2020, to November 9, 2020," verified by the unit's emblem seal.
2. The territorial subdivisions of the Ministry of Defense's conscription and mobilization service will make corresponding entries in the citizens' military records, provided there are necessary grounds from the respective units (letters, excerpts from the commander's orders), stamped with the military commissariat seal.
3. If personnel not included in the excerpts of orders dispatched from the units approach territorial subdivisions (military commissariats), a written inquiry will be made to the relevant units to clarify their data.
