Georg Petrosyan Exits Prosperous Armenia Party for the Third Time

As previously reported, today Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) MP Georg Petrosyan announced via a Facebook post that he is leaving the PAP faction in the National Assembly and will continue to operate as an independent MP. This is not the first time Georg Petrosyan has left the ranks of the PAP, notes armdaily.am.

Georg Petrosyan initially joined the PAP in 2006. He ceased his membership in the Prosperous Armenia Party in 2010. In 2015, he rejoined the party. However, on March 12, 2016, he was expelled from the PAP by a decision of the party's political council for making disparaging remarks about the party on social networks and in the media.
