According to the published list, a total of 9 luxury passenger cars will be presented at the auction scheduled for March 5 of the current year. The starting prices of the vehicles vary between 11 million 700 thousand to 25 million 200 thousand drams, depending on the year and model. The total expected value of the cars based on their starting prices is estimated at 149 million 800 thousand drams.
Additionally, on March 3, 5 vehicles from the Artsakh Ministry of Internal Affairs' car park will also be auctioned, with a total starting value of 1 million 985 thousand 600 drams.
Earlier this year, Artak Beglaryan, the head of the Office of the President of Artsakh, informed about discussions regarding the reduction of the number of service vehicles for state officials and their auctioning, during an online open conversation in response to a question from a Facebook user. According to Beglaryan, it was decided that especially luxury service vehicles would be put up for public auction, allowing them to be sold at as high a price as possible, with the proceeds directed to the state budget for public needs as required.
