Video: Masis Police Arrest Burglary Suspect at the Scene

On February 13, around 1 PM, officers from the Masis Police Department received operational information that a man had entered an apartment in the 9th building of the New Neighborhood of Masis with the intent to commit theft. The operational teams went to the mentioned neighborhood and cordoned off the building.

Soon, Masis police officers established that the homeowner, who lives alone, was at work. There was a key in the door lock from the inside, and police also sensed movement inside the apartment. While the homeowner was being informed of the situation and was on her way back, thanks to the professional actions of the Masis police, the man inside opened the door and was taken into custody by the police. The 38-year-old man, who resides in Vanadzor, has been presented to the territorial investigative unit and arrested. An investigation is underway on the initiated criminal case.
