This was stated by Arpi Davoyan, a member of the "My Step" faction in the National Assembly, during a conversation with journalists today, February 15, regarding claims that Nikol Pashinyan was a project of Serzh Sargsyan.

Commenting on the announcement of Serzh Sargsyan's interview, she said, “One can take time to understand what he is saying, what he is talking about, and what kind of questions the person is raising, who has been the leader of Armenia for years and left us a country like the one we saw, and the kind of problems we faced. The series of interviews conducted by former leaders of Armenia are more of a self-defensive nature than they can include any valid arguments.”

Arpi Davoyan disagreed that their team rejected Serzh Sargsyan. “The people of Armenia rejected Serzh Sargsyan, all citizens. If it had only been our team's rejection, it would not have led to such a resolution of events. In other words, what happened almost 3 years ago was not due to our team’s will, but a result of the political policies pursued by Serzh Sargsyan. You say there are no verdicts. There will be verdicts, and not only regarding Serzh Sargsyan. We are consistently going down that path, as we have stated. Perhaps the path to truth is slow, but it does not mean that there will not be cases in progress. Justice must prevail.”
