Former Officials Plundered the Army, Which is Why We Couldn’t Defend Artsakh: Supporter of Pashinyan

“We will stand by Nikol Pashinyan and protect the people’s revolution,” stated Hayk Stepanyan, a member of the “Guardians of the Revolution” initiative, during a rally held in Gyumri today.

During his speech, he accused the former authorities, asserting that they had been “plundering the Armenian army for 30 years,” effectively blaming them for Armenia's defeat in the Second Nagorno-Karabakh War.

“The former authorities were busy plundering the army. Today, they come and ask why the army couldn’t defend Artsakh; it’s because you robbed that army down to the last penny,” he declared.
