At What Age Can Children Get Vaccinated Against Covid-19

Vaccinations against Covid-19 for children are being conducted starting from the age of 16 and above, the Ministry of Health of Armenia has informed Aysor.am.

"Children are not included in the risk group," said the ministry in response to the question of at what age children are starting to be vaccinated against the coronavirus.

It should be noted that the ministry also reported that the interval between the first and second vaccinations against COVID-19 varies for different vaccines; for example, the 'Sputnik-V' vaccine requires a 21-day gap, while 'AstraZeneca' requires 28 days.

Additionally, the ministry informed that if an Armenian citizen plans to travel to any country that requires mandatory vaccination against Covid-19, they cannot currently go anywhere in Armenia to get vaccinated.

According to the ministry's information, the process of acquiring the 'Sputnik-V' and 'AstraZeneca' vaccines is currently in the negotiation phase.
