Urgent: Earthquake 8 km Southeast of Yerevan

On February 13, 2021, at 15:29 local time, a magnitude 4.7 earthquake was recorded by the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia, 8 km southeast of Yerevan, at a depth of 10 km. The intensity of the underground tremor in the epicentral zone was measured at 6-7 points.

The earthquake was felt in Yerevan with an intensity of 5-6 points, and in the regions of Aragatsotn, Ararat, Shirak, Armavir, and Vayots Dzor with an intensity of 3-4 points.
