Rockfall in Kond, Cracks in Artashat: Citizen Reports

Following the earthquake, certain sections of the walls in buildings in the Kond neighborhood of Yerevan have experienced rockfalls. According to reports from Armenpress, residents felt the earthquake intensely in other administrative areas as well, including Malatia-Sebastia, Erebuni, Masiv, and elsewhere.

Citizens have noted that walls in different parts of their apartments have cracked. Images circulating on the internet show that in Arabkir, there was a collapse due to the earthquake, damaging a car parked underneath a building.

In the Ararat Province, walls of certain houses in Artashat have also cracked. In several villages around Artashat, plaster has fallen from the walls. Residents of Ashtarak reported hearing walls rumble and items moving in their homes. In Vagharshapat (Etchmiadzin), furniture and chandeliers were swaying in houses. In Gyumri, citizens did not feel the tremor very strongly.
