Earthquake Tremors Felt in Tbilisi
Just moments ago, an earthquake was recorded in Armenia, located 150 kilometers from the border with Georgia. The underground tremors were also felt in Tbilisi, according to aliq.ge.
The epicenter of the earthquake was near the village of Vanashen in the Ararat Province of Armenia. Tremors were felt in Yerevan and other regions of Armenia. According to Tea Godoladze, head of the Georgian seismic monitoring center, preliminary data indicates that the magnitude of the earthquake was 4.9 on the Richter scale.
