Armenian Side Transfers Remains of 7 Azerbaijani Soldiers to Azerbaijan

Armenia has transferred the remains of seven Azerbaijani soldiers to Azerbaijan. It is presumed that these are the citizens of Azerbaijan who went missing during the First Nagorno-Karabakh War. This information was provided by Azerbaijan's State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages, and Missing Persons.

The transfer process took place near the city of Shushi. After the identification process is completed, the remains will be handed over to their relatives.

It is noteworthy that yesterday the President of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, met with an official representative of Azerbaijan in an area controlled by the Russian peacekeeping forces, accompanied by Colonel Armen Abazyan, the head of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia, and Lieutenant General Rustam Muradov, the commander of the Russian peacekeeping forces in Artsakh. They discussed issues related to the return of prisoners, the search for the missing, and other humanitarian matters.
