Vazgen Manukyan: Our Agenda is Different from Kocharian's

Vazgen Manukyan also attended the event for the establishment of the 'Armenian National Front' charitable organization yesterday. Responding to a question about what breakthrough change we should expect from the Homeland Salvation Movement at the rally on February 20, he said: "No single action is breakthrough; rather, the sum of actions can be breakthrough, and it is very important that the entire people participate in that activity, rather than hope that a single hero will come. Since we are talking about heroes, the current situation of the authorities resembles that when Davit Sassuntsi strikes Mesrop Malik with a sword and says, 'Give yourself a good shake.'"

Referring to Robert Kocharian's statement that he is ready to participate in the elections and 'bear' the consequences, Manukyan said: "He stated that he is against holding snap elections during Nikol Pashinyan's time, but if they happen, he will participate; however, our agenda is different: to throw them out and then hold elections."
