Temporary Vacancy in the Prime Minister's Office: Salary 175,000 Dram

The Prime Minister's Office has issued an announcement regarding a temporary vacant position in the civil service. The position is for a senior specialist in the remuneration policy of the civil service (code: 06-Г26-21.4-М3-1).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conducting analyses of labor market trends by profession and region to implement changes in remuneration for public officials and civil service positions.
  • Analyzing the dynamics of staff turnover within the civil service system and identifying factors contributing to turnover.
  • Participating in the drafting of legal acts derived from the Department's functions.
  • Contributing to the formulation of compensation policies in state bodies.
  • Monitoring the results of performance evaluations and conducting relevant analyses based on these results.

Requirements for the Position:

  • A higher education degree.
  • Knowledge necessary for carrying out the functions.
  • At least one year of service in the public sector, one year of professional work experience, or one year of experience in the field of law or economics.
  • Ability to work with computers and modern technical tools.
  • Knowledge of the Republic of Armenia's Constitution, laws regarding civil service, and relevant legal acts.
  • Ability to reason and adapt to different situations.

The salary for this position is 175,932 AMD.

Work Location: Armenia, Yerevan, Kentron Administrative District, Teryan 89.

The selection method involves reviewing the applications of submitted documents by citizens.

The duration of the temporary vacancy is set until the return of the main employee.

Eligible candidates are citizens of the Republic of Armenia who meet the requirements for the position, possess proficiency in Armenian, and are at least 18 years old. The maximum age for holding a public service position is 65 years.

Eligibility to join the civil service is denied to individuals who:

  • Have been judicially declared incompetent.
  • Have been judicially deprived of the right to hold a public service position.
  • Suffer from an illness that could hinder the performance of their duties.
  • Have been convicted of a crime, and the conviction has not been annulled or erased.
  • Failed to fulfill mandatory military service obligations as required by law.

Candidates must submit the following documents to the Prime Minister's Office (1 Government House, Republic Square, Yerevan):

  • A written application (to be filled out at the time of document submission).
  • A passport or identification card with copies (if the identification card is not presented, a public service number or a document confirming the provision of a public service number is required).
  • Documents proving compliance with the required professional knowledge and work capabilities, including diploma(s) and certificates with copies alongside originals, and employment record (in the absence of the latter, certificates from relevant authorities must be provided).
  • For male candidates, a copy of the military service record or an equivalent replacement.
  • One recent 3x4 cm photograph.
