Road Closures in Aragatsotn Province; Lars Open

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that there are closed roads within the Republic of Armenia. The roads from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station to the Amberd Fortress and to the Karch Lake are closed in Aragatsotn Province.

Regarding Lars, according to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Management Department and the Crisis Management Center of the North Ossetia Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles. However, there are about 600 trucks accumulated on the Russian side.

Drivers are advised to use winter tires exclusively.
