Different Officials of the Authorities Busy ‘Covering Up’ the Issue and Deceiving the Public: Tigran Abrahamyan
For two consecutive days, a draft agreement concerning the joint arrangements between Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Russia has been circulating on the internet; however, the government has yet to clarify the matter. This was stated by Tigran Abrahamyan, head of the Analytical Center 'Henaket' and former advisor on security issues to the President of Artsakh, on his Facebook page.
"For two consecutive days, a draft agreement concerning the joint arrangements between Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Russia has been circulating on the internet; however, the government has not clarified: a) what agreement was Deputy Prime Minister Avinyan referring to, citing the confidentiality factor as a reason for not disclosing details, b) if the circulating draft has no relation to the agreed-upon terms, then why has it not been denied? c) If for any reason the government has issues discussing the details of the trilateral agreement or the document, why was the fact hidden altogether, only to be addressed after it was referenced by Russian border guards?
Instead of responding to these and similar inquiries, officials of various ranks are busy 'covering up' the issue and misleading the public, as well as legitimizing Azerbaijan’s presence on the roads of Syunik,” he wrote.
