Ararat Governor Hosts Evening of Reconciliation

The newly appointed governor of Ararat, Razmik Tevonyan, gathered the mayors of the region approximately ten days ago at the "Morena" restaurant for an evening of reconciliation. He encouraged the mayors to support him and promised that he would favor his allies.

The governor specifically invited mayors from the Masis region to the gathering. Sources indicate that he hesitated to extend such an invitation to the mayors of the Ararat region, as it falls under the influence of the Avshar Grigoryan brothers.

The governor’s hometown, Yeraskh, is also located in the Ararat region. The presence of Ghukasyan Simonyan, the mayor of Darakert, was particularly unexpected for the mayors of Masis, as he is related to the former MP Murad Muradyan of the Republican Party.

Incidentally, Araik Grigoryan underwent a complex surgery at "Erebuni" hospital yesterday, which was reported to have gone successfully.
