Stepantsminda-Lars Highway Open for All Types of Vehicles

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed roads within the territory of Armenia. The roads from the 'Amberd' high mountain meteorological station to Amberd Fortress and to Kari Lake are closed in the Aragatsotn region.

Regarding Lars, as per the information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia's North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles. There is approximately 600 accumulated cargo trucks on the Russian side.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
