Armenian Second Channel Sues the RA Television and Radio Commission
The Armenian Second Channel has filed a lawsuit against the Television and Radio Commission of the Republic of Armenia. This information comes from the Judicial Information System.
The lawsuit has been assigned to Administrative Court Judge Grigor Arakelyan. The plaintiff seeks to annul the decisions made by the Commission, one of which determines the number of slots in the nationwide broadcasting competition for the use of a slot in the public multiplex as 5, instead of the previous 6 (decided on January 8, 2021).
They are also demanding the annulment of the decision regarding the declaration of winners in this competition and the granting of licenses (decided on January 15, 2021).
It should be noted that according to the Television and Radio Commission's decision on January 15, 2021, the Armenian Second Channel was deprived of the opportunity to conduct terrestrial broadcasting.
